Dennis Harper Prior to pursuing his BFA (2004) and MFA (2009), Dennis worked professionally in computer graphics, toy design, and as a syndicated cartoonist. He has received numerous grants, fellowships, scholarships, and awards, and has exhibited in Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Miami Beach, and New York. Dennis grew up in Los Angeles and likes to attribute his aesthetic sensibilities to a thorough Southern California enculturation. His home is in Austin, Texas and he is a member of Box 13 Art Space in Houston, Texas.
